What is Cyberbullying?

According to Kidshealth from Nemours, cyberbullying is “the use of technology to harass, threaten, embarrass, or target another person.” This being kids are exposed to a higher rate of bullying as they can now be targeted through social media websites such as email, text messages, voice mail, online messaging systems, networking sites and other forms of commutative websites.

Intentionally threatening a victim through any form of online media.

Cyberbullying can be both deliberate and unintentional. Intentional cyber bullying consists of the bully being aware of their actions and will continue until reaching the desired outcome. As unintentional bullying means they are unaware of their acts in harassment to the victim. This being a simple joke which may appear funny to one person, but not the other. Unintentional bullying generally concludes once being confronted although an intentional bullying will continue their act even after being spoken to.
